Formal Safety Assessments

Fire and Explosion Risk Assessment (FERA)
Our FERA studies evaluate worst-case fire and explosion scenarios by working closely with process engineers. We identify potential ignition sources, assess release rates, and analyze fire behavior. Based on findings, we recommend effective strategies for detection, suppression, and separation to minimize risks.

Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA)
QRA applies rigorous probabilistic methods to quantify both individual and societal risk levels. We use event tree fault modeling, analyze event frequencies and consequences, and prepare risk contour maps.

Flammable & Toxic Dispersion Analysis
We simulate how flammable gases or toxic vapors may spread using advanced various dispersion models. Safety zones and rejection zones are defined to prevent onsite and offsite impact.

Flare Radiation & Dispersion Studies
For flaring operations, we model radiation flux to assess risks to people and equipment. Using recognized industry methodologies, we determine safe separation distances and provide advice on flare tip design and shielding.

Escape, Evacuation & Rescue Analysis (EERA)
Safe evacuation is critical for regulatory compliance in hazardous sectors. We model evacuation routes, analyze muster times, and plan capacity requirements.

Emergency Systems Survivability (ESSA)
We ensure critical systems such as firewater, deluge, ventilation, and emergency power remain functional during
incidents. Our survivability analysis evaluates availability during a major accident hazard scenario.
